The route generally goes through flat terrain. Only on day 5, you will go up a longer hill, that strectes about two kilometers. The tour mainly takes place on small side roads, paved trails and some dirt roads, to avoid most of the local traffic.

It offers spacious and stylish rooms equipped with elegant bathrooms, balcony, satellite TV, minibar and much more. Savour the culinary delights at the two restaurants, La Veneziana and Brasserie Mediterraneo. A hearty breakfast is served in the inviting winter garden. After your excursions, relax on the large sun terrace with sun loungers or take a dip in the beautiful pool, which is typically open from May to September. In the evening, relax with a cool drink and chat with the locals at Café Mar.

Itinerary

Here you can see the programme for the tour.

When checking in at the hotel you will receive a welcome package with route descriptions and maps, and the bikes will be be handed to you.

Today's cycling stage will take you through the beautiful provincial capital of Treviso. A charming city that still goes free of mass tourism. The city has a friendly atmosphere and is one of the prettiest in the region, with its channels integrated into the urban landscape, the peaceful green parks and the historic center. In Treviso several small rivers meet up and merge together to the Piave River, and then it is the home of the delicious dessert Tiramisu.

The cycling route passes ancient fortresses before you cycle into the heart of "citta dell'acqua" the city of water. This nickname well describes the city center, where several channels intersect. The route continues past the cathedral with its characteristic domes, past the City Hall in the city center and further out past the patrician villas with their characteristic wall paintings before you again cycle out into the country side and back to your hotel.

The day begins with a relaxing bike ride through croplands, where you will get past deserted roads that winds past majestic and lonely mansions and villas.

After crossing the Piave River, you will cycle along the "Strada dei Vini Del Piave". These wine routes get their names from the great vineyards surrounding them. This is where the world famous Pinot Grigio grapes are grown and harvested with great success. You will follow this lush landscape of vines for about 15 km. before heading for the hotel.

This stage will show you the charming Roman town of Castelfranco Veneto.

The city surrounds a large and well-preserved fortress, which still stands beautifully with its high red brick walls. It measures 232 meters/761ft on each side and in addition to the 4 towers, marking the corners, the tower has has two more charming towers. One on the south wall, which acts as a bell tower for the cathedral, and one on the east wall. Furthermore, the entire fortress surrounded by a moat.

When cycling back to the hotel you will pass the beautiful country house Villa Emo, which is a medieval architectural masterpiece, built by the architect Andrea Palladio in the 1500s. This is a must to visit, and we have therefore included the entrance ticket.

This day begins with a transfer that leads you to Valdobbiadene. This town is the headquarter of the Prosecco area and surrounded by vineyards. An atmospheric little square in the town center, with its variety of cafes, is an obvious place to enjoy a cup of real Italian cappuccino, before cycling up the longest hill on this tour (about 2 km). It is difinitely worth the effort, as the view of endless vineyards meets you at the top.

From here, the route takes you through several small unique wine villages. In one of these villages you will be invited to a tasting of Prosecco - the delicious and famous sparkling wine (included). After this, there is only few kilometers back to the hotel.

The final cycling stage on this tour runs through a fantastic scenery and brings you back in the direction of Treviso. On a former train track, which today has been transformed into bike path, you will cycle along the nature reserve by Sile River. Here the parths runs along the river and crosses it before the last stretch brings you back towards the hotel, through the stunning country scenery that characterizes this area.

After breakfast you will be checking out of the hotel for departure.

Spring (March to May): In spring, the weather from Torino to Alba, Asti, and Barolo is mild and pleasant. Temperatures typically range from 10-20°C. March can be cool with some rain, but as April and May progress, it becomes warmer and sunnier. The countryside starts to bloom, and the vineyards begin to green, creating beautiful landscapes for cycling.

High Summer (June to August): High summer brings warm weather with temperatures often between 25-35°C. It can get very hot in July and August, with minimal rainfall during this period. The sun shines almost every day, providing excellent conditions for a cycling holiday, but it's important to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade. Evenings tend to be cooler, offering a pleasant end to the day.

Autumn (September to October): Autumn is an ideal time for cycling in this region, with temperatures ranging from 15-25°C. The weather is stable and mild, and the vineyards are stunning with their golden and red hues. September is generally drier, while October may have more rainy days. This is also the harvest season for grapes, so the area is lively with activity, and the aroma of wine production fills the air.
