On almost all of our holidays it is possible to travel alone. In most cases (but not all) there is an additional supplement. Some people ask why it costs extra when travelling alone and the answer is really quite simple. It's because hotel rooms are often the same price regardless of whether you're one person or two people sharing. Some hotels/lodging establishments have a reduced room rate for single travellers, but it will still cost more overall than if two people share a double room.
The following tours are some that we think are particularly suitable for solo travellers. It could either be that the single supplement isn't that high or that, in our opinion, the trip is just good and safe when travelling alone. An example could be the Camino, which many people walk alone to explore themselves, their limits and meet strangers who are travelling for the same purpose. A perfect walking holiday for solo travellers.
Keep in mind that this list represents our subjective opinion of the tours. You should read about the trip thoroughly before deciding if it's a trip you want to go on alone. Also note that travelling to Morocco, for example, is technically not a solo trip as there is a guide and chef on the trip.
