1001 nights yoga adventure in Morocco
Here is a short video from our 1001 Nights Yoga Adventure in Morocco. The trip is a group journey with the talented yoga teacher Helene Lysekilde from Indre Ro in Odense.

Our yoga holidays
Here you can see a list of the yoga holidays you can take through Bering Travel. There are both beginner and advanced holidays. Yoga is a great form of exercise that everyone can participate in. We offer holidays to many great yoga destinations, including Greece, Portugal and Sri Lanka.
From a hillside overlooking the Amalfi Coast to the gym and even in front of the TV in your living room, yoga can be practised anywhere. However, we'd argue that you simply get more out of it when you combine yoga with travelling the world. And why is that?
It's perhaps easiest to explain with a picture:
You got up in the night, took the train to the airport, waited and ate a deadly boring bun from the airport canteen, were fed ‘cardboard food’ on the plane and now you've landed at your destination - we don't need to mention a specific destination here, because it applies to them all.
From the moment you step off the plane, you can feel it. The air is just different here, the smells are different from the first moment and you notice it because you're travelling and your mind is open. That's why travelling is amazing no matter where you go. It's not really the destination that matters so much. You're away from everyday life and on the journey there, your mind has opened up and now you can really take in everything new. Everything is more intense when travelling. The food tastes better, nature is more beautiful and yoga affects you even more than usual because your open mind allows you to listen to yourself and your body even more.
Yoga holiday or yoga retreat
At Bering Travel, we distinguish between a Yoga Holiday and a Yoga Retreat. They are basically the same thing, of course, but we have chosen to call the individual trips ‘Yoga Holidays’ and the group trips ‘Yoga Retreats’.
The individual yoga holiday
On individual yoga holidays, you can pretty much travel at any time and the trip is not dependent on whether there are other participants from Denmark on your specific dates.
On our individual yoga holidays, we typically only write what kind of yoga is taught at the destination and not specifically which yoga teacher is teaching. The reason is that sometimes there is a change in who is teaching. However, you can rest assured that there will be competent yoga teachers teaching on your yoga holiday wherever you go.
Yoga Retreats in groups
Here we are talking about group trips with specific named yoga teachers and where the Yoga Retreat itself is an expression of the yoga teacher's vision for the trip. A Yoga Retreat is often a more intense experience in terms of yoga and interaction with the other participants. For example, there is typically a lot more yoga included than on a Yoga Holiday. You are always welcome to contact us if you want to know how many people have signed up for a particular Yoga Retreat. We endeavour to confirm all trips no later than two months before departure.
Hiking & Yoga
Hiking and yoga are two activities that support each other perfectly and on our Recharge in Paradise tours we combine the two. The tours include yoga every morning and several days of hiking. Everyone can join the tours regardless of previous experience with yoga and/or hiking.
