A walking holiday on the Algarve coast in the spring months of March, April and May offers mild temperatures that gradually rise to 18-25 degrees. Rainfall is moderate and wind conditions are generally mild.
In the summer months, June, July and August, temperatures rise to 28-35 degrees, so we recommend that, especially on the extra hot days, you start your daily stages early in the day to avoid the midday heat.
The autumn months of September, October and November again offer warmer temperatures between 22-30 degrees and we recommend that you pay attention to the days when the temperature is extra high. Wind conditions remain mild and precipitation increases slightly compared to the other periods.
During the winter months of December, January and February, you can expect the lowest temperatures throughout the year. Here the temperature will often be around 10 degrees, precipitation will increase further and wind conditions will feel cooler.
